Individual and Relationship Therapist

Orville helps individuals, couples, families and groups in personal development, depression, grief, anger management, relationships, work-related issues, and in marriage preparation. He conducts group counselling, seminars and workshops on a variety of topics, including Relationships, Grief, Forgiveness, Parenting, and Divorce/Separation Recovery. He has particular interest in working with the reintegration of families that have experienced ‘serial’ immigration.

With a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree in Counselling Psychology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Orville has been in counselling practice since 1996. He is also a graduate of The American University (Washington, D.C.) with a degree in Public Relations.

He obtained specialist training in Marriage and Family Therapy on his way to becoming a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (Ontario Division), and is a member of the Canadian Registry of Marriage & Family Therapists (#74347).

Prior to pursuing his career as a psychotherapist, Orville had over 20 years’ experience in the professional practice of public relations (for governments, non-profits, corporations and individuals) in the US, Canada, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. He also gained experience in commercial banking, life insurance and manufacturing industries.

Orville conducts his counselling practice in North York (Don Mills/York Mills area). His personal credo is: Service to humanity is the best work of life.
