Lindsay has a Masters in Educational Psychology from McGill University and over 25 years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples and families. Therapeutic approaches used are collaboratively decided upon with her clients and are geared to their goals and expectations.
She has training and experience with a variety of therapies including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR level 2)and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to name a few.

She also has an interest in helping to prepare family medicine residents for future practice and co-ordinates, teaches and supervises in a counselling skills education program at the University of Toronto. She has co-presented at several national Family Medicine conferences on topics such as teaching behavioural medicine, basic counselling skills, parenting and attachment.
